Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the series' best-selling game

* Assassin's Creed Valhalla*, Ubisoft's recent Viking open-world RPG game, is the best selling game in the franchise's history.

Although we do not have any exact numbers, Ubisoft has stated that the game has sold more units in its first week than any other Assassin's Creed game in the same period. In the press release, Ubisoft stated that "Assassin's Creed Valhalla has also become the top-selling Ubisoft PC launch ever, driven by all-time record Ubisoft Store sales performance."

The Assassin's Creed franchise has been around for 13 years, and with how well * Assassin's Creed Valhalla* has looked in game demos and trailers, it is only fair to see that the game is the best selling in its series. However, I am shocked to know that it is Ubisoft's best selling title on the PC as well!

Last year, * Assassin's Creed Odyssey* was the series' best-selling game. Before that, it was * Assassin's Creed III* with over 3.5 million copies sold. So it is safe to say that Valhalla may have sold above the four million unit mark.

Although the number of units sold was not disclosed, Ubisoft did state some exciting metrics that the players have achieved. This includes players traveling over four million kilometers, 55 million buildings have been unlocked, and millions of games of Orlog have been played. It is always fun to see metric's like this!

  • Assassin's Creed Valhalla* is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
