Earlier this year, Blizzard announced that they would be canceling BlizzCon 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In replacement of BlizzCon, Blizzard will be bringing a new online convention in 2021. It will be called "BlizzConline."

BlizzConline will be February 19-20th, 2021, and it will "channel the same spirit of BlizzCon into an online show." This online convention will have many of the same events that are popular at BlizzCon. This includes contests for Cosplay, Art, Digital Storytelling, and much more. There will also be a cosplay exhibition during the two-day running period.

Fans who want to participate in any community events will need to make sure they get their submissions in before January 4th, 2021.

Blizzard did not announce if they are going to showcase any games. Still, since they usually do during BlizzCon, it is expected that they may showcase some of there upcoming games as well, such as Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, or updates to World of Warcraft.

Many wonder if more will be announced for the upcoming BlizzConline, but currently, all we know about is the date and the events that will be taking place. With it being nearly five months away, Blizzard may make more announcements the closer the event gets, and we will make sure to post about them on Luro.io!
