This weekend was supposed to be the first available Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2; however, soon after it was released, the content has been delayed until further notice because of a game-breaking bug.
According to Bungie in a tweet, it looks like the issue was that players could not access the Lighthouse after completing a "flawless" Trials Passage. Because of this bug, Bungie has decided to disable the Trials of Osiris for the remainder of the weekend.
We are investigating an issue where players are unable to visit the Lighthouse after completing a Flawless Trials Passage.— Bungie Help (@BungieHelp) June 12, 2020
Trials of Osiris has been disabled for the remainder of the weekend, and will be unavailable until this issue can be resolved.
Stay tuned for updates.
The bug messes things up for those who complete a "flawless" run of the new multiplayer mode. A flawless run is when one is able to win seven multiplayer matches without losing a single one. Players who accomplish this get access to what is called the Lighthouse, a unique social space in Destiny 2 that gives you some of the best rewards in the game.
This bug prevents players from getting to this place, which can be upsetting for those skilled enough to get seven wins in a row.
Trials of Osiris will stay unavailable until Bungie can identify what is causing the bug, and fix it. Until then, it is unlikely that we will see Trials of Osiris available in Destiny 2.
