Google Stadia's upcoming exclusive Crayta will be launching this July 1st. On launch, the game will support the forthcoming beta version of "Stadia State Share." Stadia State Share is an experimental tech that will allow any Stadio user to jump into another Stadia player's game via a URL.
Crayta, developed by Unit 2 Games, was first announced back in April and will allow players to create their own multiplayer games without any coding. Players can design alone, or create together, and build worlds that can be experienced by a few or by many.
Crayta will launch as a "Stadia First," meaning that it will not be Stadia only forever, and will, at some point, launch on other platforms. Crayta will also support up to 20 players per game at launch and free post-launch support and updates through 2020.
With the addition of Stadia State Share, players will be able to link their Crayta created world directly. This link will "instantly" put a player into the world so they can start playing the linked game. On top of Crayta, Google hopes to have this feature available with multiple other games to allow Stadia users to interact with others more easily.
So, will you be creating your own world with Crayta on Google Stadia?
