Codemasters has announced that their upcoming racing game, Dirt 5, has been delayed again. This time, it will be postponed until November 6th.

Initially, the game was planned to be released on October 16th, which ended up being a delayed release date as well. This news comes as Codemasters wants to release the game around the same time that next-gen consoles are released. This new release date puts it close to the same time frame that the new consoles will be released.

“The revised launch date will allow Codemasters to release all versions of the game in a shorter timeframe, with the next generation of console launches expected for the holiday season.”

The date for those who have purchased the Amplified edition is also changing. The game will still allow you to play three days earlier, but that is from the current release date, switching from the initial October 13th date announced previously. You will now be able to play on November 3rd.
