Codemasters' popular racing game, Dirt 5, is receiving a new update today that will be adding quite a few things to the game.

First, the update is titled the Red Bull Revolution Update, and it is available for free to all players.

The official launch date is today, May 11th, and will be available on all platforms.

However, the most interesting feature of this update is the cross-platform matchmaking available on the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. This feature will be available on Google Stadia, but not until later this year.

Although Stadia players need to wait a bit longer, it is good to know that you will soon be able to play with more than just other Stadia players in the game!

Outside of the cross-platform matchmaking, the update will include new Red Bull liveries for the following cars:

  • Audi S1 EKS RX quattro
  • MINI John Cooper Work Buggy by X-raid
  • Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi
  • Volkswagen Race Touareg 3

Ghost Lap times are being added, and some additions to the Playgrounds mode.
