Microsoft has announced that EA Play will be available through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions starting this December for PC. If you own an Xbox, you will be able to access EA Play earlier, November 10th, to be exact.

Although we do not have an exact date for the PC release, it is still good to know that it will be coming before the end of the year, hopefully before the holidays, so you can spend your time off playing EA games!

EA Play will allow for access to over 60 games. This includes games from the Mass Effect series, Battlefield, The Sims, and many more. Along with Bethesda games slowly making there way onto the platform; this will make the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate one heck of a subscription deal.

For those who take advantage of playing your games in the cloud with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, Microsoft did say that some EA games will be playable through xCloud. They did not specify which ones.

If you already subscribe to both EA Play and Game Pass, Microsoft will be canceling your EA Play subscriptions, and any remaining time will be converted over to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription time. You can read the full FAQ over on the official Xbox website.

It is also good to mention that the included subscription is the basic level of EA Play. It is not EA Play Pro, which will most likely be an additional cost.
