We previously reported that the EA Play subscription was to come to Xbox Game Pass on PC in December of this year. Well, it is already mid-way through December, and it looks like we received some bad news for those looking forward to playing Electronic Arts' games through their Xbox Game Pass subscriptions on PC over the holidays.
Microsoft has announced that they will be delaying the integration of EA Play into the Xbox Game Pass subscription service until sometime in 2021. The reasoning for this? Microsoft says that they "need more time."

Other than that, no further information has been given for the reason behind the delay. If you do own the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you should be able to play games from EA Play on your Xbox or Android device thanks to xCloud. But, if you were hoping to play some games on your PC, unfortunately, it looks like you will have to wait.
In the meantime, you can check out and play the vast amount of games already available to play through Game Pass!
