GOG has a new refund policy

If you use a Cloud Gaming platform that offers compatibility with the GOG Game Launcher, then you may want to check out their new refund policy!

On February 26th, GOG, formally known as Good Old Games will now allow for users to return any game within 30 days of purchase. This even includes games that you have launched and played. However, this does not include individual DLC packs or games gifted by friends.

According to the post from GOG, "starting now, you can get a full refund up to 30 days after purchasing a product, even if you downloaded, launched, and played it. That's it.".

This is incredible news for PC gamers. Do note that GOG has the right to refuse refunds in the case of if users "hurt the developers that put their time and heart into making great games."

This is honestly the most generous refund policy available to PC gamers that I have known!

Similar game launchers like Epic Game Store and Steam offer refunds up to two weeks from when the game is purchased, however, you can not have played the game more than 2 hours. GOG does not have a cap.

So, if you use cloud gaming platforms like Shadow, you can take advantage of GOG's refund policy!
