Google Stadia may not have had the greatest of startups, but they are trying there hardest to gain attention by bolstering the addition of more games. Recently, it was five titles. Now, they have added four games from the SteamWorld Series: SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Dig 2, SteamWorld Heist, and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech.
If you are unsure about the SteamWorld series, SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Dig 2 are exploration type games that have you dig your way through a large underground world. SteamWorld Heist is a turned-based type strategy game with a bullet-bouncing mechanic mixed in. Last, but not least, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a roleplaying/deckbuilding card game.
Google Stadia Pro users will have the benefit of playing SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech on launch, as they will be given to Pro users for free.
Though Google did not announce an actual release date, I foresee them releasing them within the next few months, as Google needs to up their "game" with available games in their library. Hopefully, Google continues to announce and release games over 2020.
What are your thoughts on how Google Stadia is doing? Do you think Stadia will get better, or is it just trying to hold on?
