Google has finally released the ability to share games with your family on Google Stadia. An announcement over at the official Stadia Reddit, Google has begun rolling out the new feature to Stadia users on November 5th. They estimate that it will take around a week before all Stadia users can use the feature.
With the feature, if you are in a Google Family Group, you can share select games with others in the group. The other group members can access these games and do not need to purchase them; instead, they will have access to play them from your account. Members who are supervised in the Family Group will be limited to what games they can play.
Google has said that there are some limitations to the Family Share feature. Members of a Family Group cannot play the same game simultaneously unless each member has separately purchased the game. If one of the games available on the account is claimed through a Stadia Pro subscription, then once your subscription ends, the game will not be available to play.
