Hearthstone's Felfire Festival kicks off today with the release of its next update, 17.4. This update brings in a new minion type, Pirates, to the Battlegrounds mode. On top of the 17 Pirates being added to the game, three new heroes are being added, a fourth being brought out of retirement, and setting the stage for the new Trial by Felfire, a new free solo adventure coming to Hearthstone next week.

The new solo adventure will allow you to follow the story of Aranna Starseeker in a five-chapter tale set to begin on June 17th. You will be able to team up with Illidan Stormrage and his Demon Hunters to face off against Mecha-Jaraxxus.

All five chapters will release at once with Blizzard stating that "The story adventure is pretty epic," and if you beat the story, you will receive the new Rusted Legion Card Back, which you can see below.

A sweet new card backing, in my opinion!

Also, releasing on June 24th, you will be able to access a new Challenge Mode that will allow you to "build a deck and take on some of Outlands biggest and baddest raid bosses." If you complete all of the challenges, you can earn the Golden Kael'thas Sunstrider.

On top of all the features mentioned in this post, there are many more that you can find at Hearthstone's blog post. So go check them out!
