Today marks the release date of SEGA's long-awaited 4x game, HUMANKIND.

With the release comes the game to two cloud gaming platforms. Available now, you can play HUMANKIND on both Google Stadia and NVIDIA GeForce Now.

  • Notice - HUMANKIND is officially released on GeForce Now (confirmed on our account). If you do not see it, try closing out your browser/app and relaunching the service, or give it some time to appear in your library.

To play HUMANKIND on GeForce Now, you will need to purchase the game on Steam. With that, you will then be able to launch the game through GeForce Now, much like any other game on the platform.

For Google Stadia, you will need to purchase the game on Google's cloud gaming service. You can then launch it and utilize Stadia's new Direct Touch features on your mobile device and/or Stadia State Sharing, allowing you to share your current games seed with others.

It is also good to note that the Stadia version of HUMANKIND will not have cross-platform multiplayer. That is unfortunate, as Stadia is still growing in popularity and will not have anywhere near the player base that other platforms will have.

Reviews are overall positive for HUMANKIND, and although the game does not add anything fancy to the 4x genre of games, it is a great addition and looks extremely fun!

HUMANKIND

HUMANKIND™ is Amplitude Studios' magnum opus, a Historical Strategy game where YOU will re-write the entire narrative of humankind – a convergence of culture, history, and values that allows you to create a civilization that is as unique as you are. HOW FAR WILL YOU PUSH HUMANKIND?
