Microsoft's Cloud Gaming service, xCloud, will be available in Australia in "early 2021." This news comes in a confirmation to YouTuber Skill Up on Twitter.

In the exchange, Skill Up asks if Microsoft has any plans to release the xCloud service in Australia, to which Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, responded with that the xCloud release "should be in early 2021."

You can see the exchange below:

Yes you can. Should be in early 2021, we are doing internal testing with our local Australia teams now. Those upgraded intertubes help a ton....

Microsoft xCloud recently launched as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for the United States, Europe, and South Korea. If this is true, then xCloud will be available for Australian users in just half a year. This is good news as Australia does not currently have any decent cloud gaming options.
