Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will get its fifth and final update this upcoming October. This update will bring you face-to-face with Fatalis.

This news was revealed by Capcom during its final Developer's Diary Update on August 28th. The stream laid out what players can expect for the next few months for the Iceborne expansion with Fatalis landing into the playing field in the final update on October 1st.

For those who do not know, Fatalis made its debut in the original Monster Hunter release. You could say that it is the OG Elder Dragon! Fatalis will bring an extremely challenging fight with it, so be prepared if you dare to challenge this fearsome foe!

Capcom has confirmed that events will continue to be taken place alongside the final update, and you can expect seasonal events to be held. Starting September 5th, Iceborne's one-year anniversary will kick-off with a bunch of event quests that players can challenge.

With Iceborne coming to a close, I wonder what Capcom has in store for the next major expansion for there flagship Monster Hunter game?
