New games coming to Xbox Game Pass, including Final Fantasy XII, The Falconeer, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and more!

In Microsoft's most recent bi-monthly Xbox Game Pass update post, they have announced a handful of new games that will be available on the different the Xbox Game Pass, as well as other games that will be getting axed from the subscription service soon.

Games being added

Starting, here is the list of games coming to the Xbox Game Pass in February.

  • Ghost of a Tale (PC) - February 4th
  • Project Winter (Cloud, Console, and PC) - February 4th
  • The Falconeer (Cloud, Console, and PC) - February 4th
  • Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (Console and PC) - February 11th
  • Jurassic World Evolution (Cloud and Console) - February 11th
  • Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones (Cloud and Console) - February 11th
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood (Cloud) - February 11th

Games with Touch Controls

Xbox Cloud Gaming has a list of new games that support touch controls. This will make it easier to play games on your phone without the need for a controller or external peripherals for your inputs. The list of new games that support touch controls is as followed:

  • Donut County
  • Enter The Gungeon
  • Fractured Minds
  • Monster Sanctuary
  • River City Girls
  • The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics
  • The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – Episode 1
  • The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries
  • The Walking Dead: Season Two
  • The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season
  • Touhou Luna Nights
  • What Remains of Edith Finch
  • Yes, Your Grace

Games Leaving the Xbox Game Pass

As new games join the subscription service, unfortunately, some games do end up leaving the service. That being said, here is the list of games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass this month:

Leaving February 15th

  • De Blob (Console)
  • Ninja Gaiden II (Console)
  • World of Horror (PC)

Leaving February 16th

  • Shadows of the Damned (EA Play/Console)

Final Thoughts

I love seeing new games being added to subscription services like Xbox Game Pass. For a small recurring payment, you can gain access to a vast collection of games. The best part is that the library is continually evolving. There will always be new games to play.

It is good to see that Microsoft is focusing on bringing more games to the platform, and it is always nice to see more games joining their vast library vs. leaving it.
