Google has posted their weekly This Week on Stadia announcement posts. Although interestingly, it does not detail the upcoming Stadia Pro games for August.

Fret not, as Google did Tweet about the upcoming games, so we do know which ones they are, and you can find them out here!

Free-play weekend

Both Marvel's Avengers and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game will be receiving a free-play weekend starting this Thursday at 9 AM PT and running until August 2nd at 9 AM PT.

If you are interested in either of these games and you have a Stadia Pro subscription, you can check them out at no additional cost!

Control Ultimate Edition

Control Ultimate Edition is making its way to Google Stadia today. For $39.99, you can start playing Control and enjoy its two previously released expansion packs directly in the cloud!

New Pro Games announced

In a Tweet from Google Stadia's official Twitter account, we get a glimpse at what the August Pro games will be.

It looks like Stadia Pro subscribers will be able to claim Killer Queen Black, Valkyria Chronicles 4, GRIME, It Came From Space & Ate Our Brains, and Epistory - Typing Chronicles.

If you are interested in these games, you can check out some summaries below...

Killer Queen Black

Killer Queen Black, inspired by the hit arcade game, Killer Queen, let’s you fight for your hive with three ways to win. Will you claim your victory by hopping on the snail, hoarding berries, or wiping out the enemy's queen?

Valkyria Chronicles 4

Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes place in the same timeframe as the original Valkyria Chronicles, but with an all-new story focusing on Squad E of the Federation. Commander Claude Wallace and his childhood friends set out to fight in a desperate war, but bone-chilling blizzards, waves of imperial soldiers, and the godlike powers of the Valkyria stand between them and victory.

Destroy... Absorb... Grow... GRIME is a fast and unforgiving Action-Adventure RPG in which you crush your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function, and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen your vessel as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue.

It Came From Space & Ate Our Brains

It came from space and ate our brains is a unique arcade top-down shooter. Looking for addicting gameplay elements, four-player local co-op mode, and tons of aliens to send into oblivion? Yes, yes and yes? You’re in the right place!

A merciless alien species has invaded the Earth and they feed on human brains (duh). Wander atmospheric locations as a no-nonsense kind of guy with the two essentials in life—a flashlight and something to turn aliens into goo. Things look pretty bad and there’s chaos everywhere! Time to save the world! Again!

Epistory - Typing Chronicles

Epistory immerses you in an atmospheric action/adventure game where you play a girl riding a giant fox who fights an insectile corruption from an origami world. As you progress and explore this world, the story literally unfolds and the mysteries of the magic power of the words are revealed.
