The Kingdom Hearts series will be coming to PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive

The Kingdom Hearts series, the collaboration games between Square Enix and Disney, initially began on the PlayStation 2 back in 2002. In the Epic Games showcase that aired on February 11th, it looks like the games are finally coming to PC, as Epic Games Store exclusives.

Coming March 30th, 2021, you can expect to see the following games on the Epic Games Store:

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
    • Kingdom Hearts FINAL MIX
    • Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
    • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD Remastered cinematics)
    • Kingdom Hearts 2 FINAL MIX
    • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
    • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics)
  • Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
    • Kingdom HeartsDream Drop Distance HD
    • Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep –A fragmentary passage–
    • Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (movie)
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC

As you can see, the naming convention for the games is somewhat confusing. Following the list above, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue both include multiple games, as seen above.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the most recent game that was released back in 2019.

I have only had the chance to play Kingdom Hearts 2 awhile back. Maybe I will finally be able to get around to playing all the games in chronological order once it is available on PC!
