Recently, EA has decided to bring their games back to Steam after leaving nearly nine years ago to promote their game launcher platform, Origin. Although their games are slowly coming back to Steam, their recently renamed subscription service is now live on Steam.
For as little as $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, you will be able to play a select number of EA titles on Steam, as well as some benefits that are only available to EA Play subscription holders. These benefits include early access to upcoming games and a permanent 10% off all digital EA purchases - including any DLC.
If you subscribe to EA Play, you will be able to play games from the Dragon Age series and Mass Effect series, as well as games such as Titanfall 2, The Sims 4, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and more.
Unfortunately, it looks like Steam users will not be able to subscribe to EA Play Pro, which is the upgraded version of the subscription service. If you want that, you will need to head over to EA's platform, Origin. Do note that it will cost you $15 per month or $100 per year.
If you would like to get EA Play, you will need to head over to the official Steam page to subscribe.
