The upcoming action role-playing game, Torchlight III, will be leaving early access for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 13th. It will be available to purchase for $40. A Nintendo Switch version of the game will be available later this year.
Torchlight III is set 100 years after the events of Torchlight II. You will be able to play the game in single-player, or you can join three other friends for an online four-player co-op experience.
The game, much like its predecessors, is a hack n' slash RPG that allows you to make your way through multiple acts, get better equipment, and upgrading your character to defeat even stronger monsters. There are four playable characters and three playable acts for the 1.0 release of the game. There is also a handful of end game contact for you to play after finishing the in-game story.
Torchlight III is created by Echtra Games. The first two Torchlight games were developed by Runic Games, which is no longer around. This means that Echtra Games has some big shoes to fill.
