World of Warcraft: Shadowlands launches in fall, beta starts next week.

Blizzard revealed on the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands stream that the upcoming expansion will not be delayed and that they are committing to a fall release.

During the stream, executive producer John Hight stated that Shadowlands will indeed arrive in the fall and that the game will be leaving its alpha and entering closed beta next week. This will allow players to explore the new end-game zone, The Maw, and other content that will be released in Shadowlands.

On top of other information provided in the stream, Blizzard gave details on what would be included in the $120 Collector's Edition of the expansion.

One of the most exciting things about this expansion is that the level cap for World of Warcraft will be reduced to 60. This means that all players who are currently level 120 will be dropped down to level 50. However, you will keep the same abilities and power levels.

I wonder how this will work out?
